Step Six

Here's one of the cockpit ribs being formed. It's made up of three quarter inch laminations that have been prebent on a hot pipe. You don't have to prebend them, but they will spring back a bit after they've been glued together on the form if you don't, resulting in not quite as much arch in the deck. next back to kayak homepage
